PPC Kahuna Blitz Page Generator news February 3, 2009
Posted by Pat in : my ppc kahuna experience , comments closedJust got an email from Jason about new tool added to member area that allows you to create massive campaigns for pay per click in no time at all. Similar tools on the market today are retailing for 500.00. The beta testing will begin on this any minute now and will be ready for you guys in a few weeks time when the doors are open again. And no, this beta testing wasn’t some gimmick- we actually are going through the process from A to Z, asking questions and giving feedback, and generally helping to get things ready with the heavy lifting being done by Jason and Marc of course!
Another new note about the Clickbank tool that I mentioned in a previous post is also ready now in the member area. I think you guys will love it. It allows to see graphs of any product trend. This is another good weapon to have in your arsenal when evaluating a product to promote. The search tool that Clickbank gives you isn’t exactly the best, and so this will really be a welcome addition for me.
This is pretty exciting news to me even though I am not really ready to go yet on the pay per click side of things. I’m still working away at the 14 day challenge, which is testing the training process and declares a winner based on how much they earn with that training by Feb 12th- so I am working hard!

Next ppc kahuna video pretty good too January 30, 2009
Posted by Pat in : my ppc kahuna experience , comments closedJust got done with next ppc Kahuna training video detailing keyword research. Now things are starting to come together as far as what to do for SEO or ppc. In this video, Jason covers what to do once you have your list complied and cleaned up with duplicates removed. We’re loading that list into Google estimator tool and we’re going to find out now how many of the terms actually get traffic.
You’ll enter 100 as your maximum cost per click here and select the regions you want to look at. Then you’ll download that file and import that file into Keyword Corral. That is another free tool that allows you to gauge the actual competition numbers for any keyword. Yes you can spend money on tools like Micronichefinder but why not save that 60 something dollars and get this stuff for free? They use Google’s info anyway.
Same story goes for Market Samurai, which goes for about 150.00 right now. This tool has more bells and whistles that I don’t personally need like finding content and finding blogs to leave comments on- easy enough to do with your browser and easier on the eyes cause I don’t have to squint with that tiny window they make you work in! Lots of people like this tool cause they can find good info about their competition backlinks and other info, but if you’re on a budget you could use the SEO addon for Firefox to do this yourself. Anyway…not all functions they have are really needed imho and are sometimes sort of a pain, and sometimes Market Samurai is abit slow and awkward for filtering a big list. They also query Google and use their results too, so why not keep your money in your pocket…?
So, getting back to Keyword Corral, you’ll import the list you got and now you can sort by things like numbers of keywords in the phrase, number of estimated clicks per day, and number of competing pages that actually use the term in the title, which is probably the best single estimation of your real competition. Some might argue, but oh well. Yes yes off page factors also weigh in heavily.
Back to topic on hand, you then stick your filtered list that you know has traffic into your ppc Kahuna program.
More on that later, thanks for stopping by. I hope you’re starting to get excited about the quality of training and tools you’ll find in ppc Kahuna. I know it’s hard to wait when you really want to get in there and learn this stuff, but it won’t be long now till it goes live- I hope you’ll join me

I never knew people searched this way-ppc kahuna tips January 30, 2009
Posted by Pat in : my ppc kahuna experience , comments closedIn this new training video on doing keyword research, I learned something different about how people do searches for stuff online. Alot of people will actually enter a URL instead of a search term. If they were looking for a used car, for example, they’d type in triple w. usedcars or something like that. Now if you’re starting an Adwords campaign and want to maximize that list of yours to include any and all possible terms people use then why not add all of the terms you can..?
I’ll bet not many people know about this trick, and here Jason gives you these cool ideas. Do you think that getting ads for urls like this would be cheaper than all of the other terms would be in your typical ppc campaign..? I’ll bet they would be LOTS cheaper. Well, where do you find them.? Jason just spills the beans right there in this training video. He also tells you how to use one of the free tools included in the members area…the keyword manipulator tool, that helps you generate a huge list of variations for those URLs also. Pretty cool.
More later, and thanks for stopping by.

PPC Kahuna Kick off January 29, 2009
Posted by Pat in : my ppc kahuna experience , comments closedWe got the overview of the process and instructions for the challenge today in the ppc Kahuna membership site. I am really excited to get going- I have several ClickBank products to promote and have done most of the digging for my keywords. This process after it’s polished up with all of our feedback will be the same process you’ll be following to get web site traffic, and we all know that more site traffic means more profits!
There was also some good news on the tools front. There will be a cool search tool for digging through the Clickbank database to unearth more items to promote. I know you can still do this the other way, but with this, you’ll be able to sort more specifically- which may help you find stuff you’d other wise have missed.
Some new tool that we don’t have the full details on yet for ppc- this sounds like a huge database with 77 million terms that will help us select the best ads. I’m not really clear on this tool yet but when Jason fills us in more, I’ll report to you.
Tomorrow, we’ll be getting more into it, so I hope you stop by and check it out.

14 day ppc Kahuna challenge begins January 28, 2009
Posted by Pat in : my ppc kahuna experience , comments closedTomorrow we’ll be starting a new contest to test the training process for ppc Kahuna and I’m excited to see how it goes. The point of all of it is to take a beginner and get them through to a profitable site/blog and then to an also profitable ppc campaign. The winner is the one that produces the most profit- either from an SEO or PPC standpoint. And we’re going to do it in 14 days and that’s it.
Jason actually shares an actual URL of his that promotes a Click Bank product that was launched in December of 08 and by the end of January of 09 is already at a PR 4 and has made over 500.00 per month so far.Last time he mentioned that site, he hadn’t done any ppc on it.
Um, yes I think this is most excellent. And I’m going to see if his methods will help me do similar or not. Now, he starts people off with SEO and all of that because if you have a site that has closely related content to the ads you’re running with ppc, then you get a better quality score, and this means cheaper traffic from Google.
Kay, so anyway…I have selected a product and tomorrow there will be a webinar that details each step of the way. All we have to do is do it exactly the same way. Now, question is, can I keep myself from second guessing and just do it the way he says..? I tend to make things harder then they need to be…so I need to just test the process the way it’s being given. Of course, I’ll keep you up to date here and everything. I know it’s sort of frustrating to wait till a site go public that has what you’re really interested in, but hang in there cause it won’t be too long now.

starting to get ppc kahuna now January 23, 2009
Posted by Pat in : my ppc kahuna experience , comments closedWell for last couple days I’ve been immersing myself in the training videos and have to admit that I’ve been a tiny bit lost. So I downloaded the checklist and just started over. I wasn’t really sure which tool was best used for what. But now I think I got it. The keyword tool you get with the membership is Keyword Corral. It will find your competition numbers and let you filter the huge list you’ll no doubt have by various metrics, like cost per click, estimated clicks or traffic per day for SEO, number of words in phrase, that sort of thing.
Then, ppc Kahuna will be where you find the actual competition and what the best keywords are right now that are bringing in a profit for the advertisers. You’ll also be able to filter out certain data to whittle down to the best and most profitable keywords to use for your campaigns.
Now, there are all of the other tools, some of which I’ve mentioned in earlier posts that allow you to expand your list of keywords even more for campaigns, but we haven’t gotten much instruction yet on what to do with them.
So, thus far, I’ve watched 9 videos on stuff like:
overview
picking a Clickbank product and evaluating their landing pages…
in depth keyword research with free tools and ideas I’ve never used before..
how to plug your terms into Keyword Corral and evaluate your results and advice on what numbers you want to go after in order to get best results with SEO and then also PPC.
And also how to open a new project in ppc Kahuna, how to interpret the data you get there, how to filter those results and decide on the most profitable terms to use for either SEO or PPC.
Now things are looking much more logical to me as I just keep stroking and taking notes. Clearly, this membership site is going to give you back what you put into it with regards to time and effort. I’m bound and determined to learn this stuff if it kills me. lol
Thanks for stopping by. If any of this looks good and you want to join me, please go and get yourself opted in for more free info from Jason and the guys. From what I hear it won’t be too long before they open up to the public. Hope you join me.
Yes I want to opt in for free ppc kahuna information
Flowchart added to Kahuna training January 16, 2009
Posted by Pat in : my ppc kahuna experience , comments closedI just printed out a sort of mind- map if you will just added by Jason for the ppc Kahuna training. It’s the sort of thing you can hang on your wall right in view to remind you of what’s next in the process. Pretty cool idea.
He also mentions in email earlier that he’ll be re-doing a couple of the training videos to cover more of this point or less of that point so everything is polished up and looking great when ppc Kahuna is opened to everyone.
Now I like that. Jason keeps people updated with new training modules, he documents what his thought processes are when he’s evaluating competition and keywrods, and even shares one of the URLs with us to look at that’s bringing him in loads of cash even now. That site was new in December of 08.
More later. I’m going to get in there and get the new videos under my belt and let you know what’s going on.
Thanks for stopping in and I hope you get over there and sign yourself up to get on the list to get notified when they open this thing up:

New training added to ppc kahuna today and comment about Infomillionaire January 16, 2009
Posted by Pat in : my ppc kahuna experience , comments closedHi all
I didn’t have time to go through the actual training today yet but wanted to let you know I got an email announcing new lessons were added. So far they total 6, and they are:
Lesson 1 Picking Your Product (clickbank covered)
Lesson 2 What to Look For in a Landing Page (clickbank merchant pages)
Lesson 3 Finding “Great” Keywords (using Google free tools- pretty cool)
Lesson 4 Filtering Out The No Traffic Words
Lesson 5 Fire Up PPC Kahuna.. Filter Your Key Words added today
Lesson 6 Find Those Killer SEO Words added today
Jason also mentions that the earlier ppc webinar will be zipped for those of us who are having trouble with the video streaming online- that’s really great news! I was watching the one of the clickbank evaluation videos and it took just forever to get through it cause it kept freezing up.
Anyway..there is also a note about new tools being added to the members area. So far, the tools in the training are are:
1- The Blitz PPC tool -which helps us create a large pay per click campaign for either Google Adwords or MSN.
2- The match tool- Use this to quickly compile Google ‘match type’ keyword lists plus negative keyword lists. Using match types correctly will increase your click through rates which will improve your Google quality score, resulting in cheaper clicks.
3- The keyword phrase multiplier tool- Use this one to generate new key phrases.
4- The Keyword Manipulator tool- allows us to use longtail keywords to properly format large keyword lists for our campaigns.
5- The longtail generator tool- creates a large number of unique phrases-this one looks cool cause Google says that half of all searches are unique!
6- PPC ad copy wizard- this allows us to optimize our ads and help to evaluate them to improve our click through rates.
Hope that you can tell by now that Jason and crew are pretty serious about giving us the training and help we need to master ppc.
This is a complete sidenote to give you an example of the clear and obvious difference of approaches- ppc Kahuna versus Infomillionaire from Frank Kern and Trey Smith.
I can tell you that from what I’ve seen so far, ppc Kahuna beats the snot out of Infomillionaire. I got their first lesson like 3 weeks after I ordered it ( yes the excuse was the holidays)..and was amazed at the lack of organization.
To be fair the videos were entertaining. But there was no information about how to get questions answered, no outline of what to expect in the coming months, no forum mentioned, no way of getting with someone online at all. I canceled big time. I could see that the way it was laid out was going to be a big flop.
You have to get the stuff in physical book form instead of having access to anything online. Yawn. This printed out books and cds thing is obviously only to charge you 40.00 plus shipping per month. It would be so much better imho for people to be able to interact online with each other and actually talk with someone about what they ‘re trying to learn. If they want cds, sure…but with technology and all, couldn’t they give us access to all of this online…? come on. And for waay waay less than Infomillionaire monthly membership costs…? Note- There is a fee for ppc Kahuna to join, but from what I know right now the monthly membership will be a buck or less per day.
These 2 dudes are alot of fun to watch though I will give them that! And hey they are rich and know what they’re doing I suppose but I was like-
I want to get in there and learn PPC and I don’t need to know how to ftp files to a server! How long will this course take to eventaully get around to getting into actually learning ppc…? No telling.
And I wonder how much other stuff are they going to try and sell you that you are getting access to for free at ppc Kahuna…like the split testing tool that’s still to come or all of the stuff that’s already there in the training area right now…? Wow I can just picture all of the money Frank and company will make from the guys that stick around there. I hope that they adjust their approach and make that course better.
For me though right now it’s a big thumb down on Infomillionaire
Hope that you are beginning to see the value that’s already built into this ppc training and decide to join me.

I WANT FREE INFORMATION ABOUT PPC KAHUNA NOW
Today’s ppc kahuna training January 14, 2009
Posted by Pat in : my ppc kahuna experience , comments closedWell let’s see, first off I wanted to sort of recap what the heck I’m doing here so if anyone lands on this page looking for a review of ppc kahuna and sees that I’m talking about training about selecting a Clickbank product they won’t be weirded out.
The bigger picture of ppc Kahuna is teaching people hoe to run a successful pay per click campaign. But, if they just gave everyone access to the tools and said here ya go, have at it…in no time they would be asking all the questions that come before that….like
what do I sell…?
what if I don’t have my own product..?
where do I start…?
how do I find the right keywords to use..?
etc…right..?
So the guys are trying to take someone with basically little information about stuff like commission junction or Clickbank and get them up to speed.
Now I just want to add here that not everyone will really take the plunge and really start an actual pay per click campaign that signs up. You might say well that’s nuts. But sometimes people will get scared off by all the actual real work there is and just settle on using the info they learned by building affiliate sites which is cool.
Okay, so I’ve got that covered- back to the training I got to look at today. It’s 2 videos on selecting and evaluating the landing page of the merchant that you’re considering marketing for.
These are pretty basic deals- very helpful for newbies which we all are at some point.
The first one goes through the various indicators and what they mean..gravity especially. Jason gives advice on which products to look for loosely based on this.
The next video was pretty decent and looks over his shoulder on how to go through a merchant landing page, or pitch page and see if it looks any good. Would you know how to evaluate a merchant this way..? I didn’t really. I would just check it out and if it looked ok to me I would get a hoplink and off I’d go. But his way makes sense and is logical and helps you to find better quality products that will convert to more sales and thus make you more money.
That’s it for today, I’ll get in there and cover another psrt of the training tomorrow.
Hope you decide to join me and master this pay per click thing..?

The ppc kahuna webinar was pretty long January 13, 2009
Posted by Pat in : my ppc kahuna experience , comments closedBut it was pretty good that same time. It went 2 hours and covered the larger picture of what we would be able to accomplish as we continued the training for ppc Kahuna.
He covers how to pick and evaluate potential product to sell as an affiliate. Probably not too much new here for those that have been around for while, but it was good that he did go over it.
Then he covers some pretty good pointers for keyword research. Now I know this is sort of a yawner topic for alot of people but this is really the foundation that we can’t be successful without online. I learned a couple of new tricks that I didn’t know. All with free tools from Google. Now I’ve belonged to nichebot and keyword discovery and maybe you’ll find more keywords with these, but if you don’t have them, you’re not sunk.
The point is- which are the keywords related to the product you want to sell and how much real competition is there..? Use the wrong keywords and good luck getting anywhere…no matter if you’re using them in your Adwords campaign or on your website.
Then he went into the basics of using the ppc Kahuna software. What can you do with it..? OK, so far I’m not an expert but this is what I got from the this first webinar and from cruising around the training area:
You’ll be able to plug in all the keywords you find in, find even more with a tool they give you access to. More good keywords…more profit potential.
You’ll be able to monitor over time what ads are that are doing well and then use your own skills to write ads that are even better. You’ll have access to a tool that helps evaluate how good those are.
You’ll be able to do what’s called split testing that helps you decide which of any 2 ads are doing better so you can squeeze more out of your campaigns.
This webinar was just the start of training for ppc, and from what I’ve read, every month they will be adding interviews with industry experts, PLR content, and even reviews of niches which looks promising.
Hope you decide to join me there when they open the doors so we can all really master ppc with Kahuna.
